I have the same.. using red dot. Sometimes that red dot vanishes when im in 1on1 and take hits, so maybe i should take some other color? suggestions? and im using same sensitivity as u.. slower the better Very Happy

crosshair and accuracy

Post  SpecTre*Fluffy on Mon Aug 04, 2008 10:39 am

I use red to lol ! i think it works on most backgrounds ...

The only other tactics i can think of are really of always aim high it takes time to build the heads shots but i think its helped me learn how to do them .. aswell as crouching and walking slowly to one side.

I use cyan and smallest dot. I used to play with sensitivity 1.00 but I like being faster so I put it 2.66 Razz

Usually my hands shakes like crazy(mostly mornings) so when i have lowest sens there is, it will minimize all the shake.

Low sensitivity makes sure, that if u walk straight up to him, ur aim doesnt shoot all over the place.
Cuz I have, if my sensitivity is low, that when I make a hs, mostly another one follow, cuz my crosshair stays on pretty much the same place.

And I use cyan/lightgreen thingy, small dot.

i use the little red dot

my tatic is to aim for the head and get as close as you can to them so the headshots are easier and once you have 2 headshots shoot for the body, say about chest height. but if you can get the 3 headshots quickly then its fine. and my mouse sensitivity is 2.66 Razz
im a pretty steady guy with a sniper. another good tip is always walk round with your crossair at head height then you can just go left and right and youll be sorted for the headshots

In some narrow corridors I just keep my aim at the height of the head and just go straight there! if theres like 2 or 3 guys there usually the one sin back can't hold their triggerfingers and keep tb'ing the guys in fron tof him, and im getting hs! If all goes well and luck is in ur side u can kill them all, but if not u die in seconds. But if it goes like it usually goes.. u kill on (maybe 2) and get lot of hp from others away.. so that ur teammates are way easier to kill them!

I would like to get cfg where i can change profession from one button. if anyone know where to get one i would be glad! it's quite important to be able to change profession quickly in etpro or wars.

It will work the same on noquater.. doesn't rly matters but you could try anything like /cl_mouseaccel 0.07(default 0.00) or m_pitch 0.016 (default 0.021) just test sum things and see with what settings u play with the best..

Magenta Dot

Post  Spectre*Pillin on Thu Sep 18, 2008 2:45 pm

I use the Magenta "Small" dot, and personally, I hate for my sensitivity to be on low and mine's usually on 4.00, but seeing as you guys seem to all agree its better I'm going to give it a dabble! At the end of the day if it doesn't work then I'll just revert.

My new settings are:
-Again, a Small Magenta dot for cross-hairs Very Happy
-Mouse sensitivity at 1.15 scratch

I'll keep you all updated so u know if i get the hang of it!
